We are an outreach oriented community. We believe firmly in the importance of biblical passages such as Matthew 25:31-46 when Jesus was describing acts of love being offered to those who are hungry, thristy, a stranger, naked, sick, and in prison, and he said, "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me."
We participate in many acts of love for the well-being of our neighbors. Some of these outreach ministries include serving at Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen, collecting goods for and giving to the Greenfield Food Pantry and Hope House, sponsoring families in need during Christmas, collecting hats and mittens for children, and much more.
On a wider scale, we give to organizations such as Disciples Home Missions, Church World Service, Week of Compassion, World Vision, and more. If you would like to participate in any of these acts of love, or would like us to help you find and give to any of these organizations, please contact us!
